Lloyd Jacquet (b. March 7, 1899 – d.March 1, 1970) was an editor.

Professional History

Lloyd Jacquet was a staff member of The Brooklyn Daily Eagle before working as an editor for National Allied Publications. He edited the first four issues of New Fun Comics and likely wrote several of the text articles in those issues as well.

In 1938, Lloyd Jacquet founded Funnies, Inc., a company dedicated to supplying comic book content to publishers inexperienced in the medium. The company supplied to Timely Comics the content for its first release: Marvel Comics #1.
