Synopsis for "Keep on Truckin'"
Lobo meets with businessman, Sam Space, owner of a space trucking company that is being targeted by hijackers. After a string of missing rigs, Sam's insurance provider suspects fraud. Sam explains Lobo he needs to hire heavy muscle to assure the insurance company his claims are legitimate. Lobo accepts the job, happy to be paid five percent of the cargo rake-off. After dressing up to look that part, Lobo is introduced to his co-pilot, Bim Simms, a gorilla who follows union rules to the letter.
Together they embark on their haul, and immediately Lobo is disgruntled by the fact that union rules declare the radio can only play country and western music. Lobo smashes the radio, followed by Bim when he starts jabbering about how the vastness of space can drive a trucker mad. Bored out of his skull, Lobo decides to check the manifest of spare parts heading to the Rim Wars. Kept in cold storage, the 'spares' are all body parts.
Stopping to eat at a truck stop diner, 'Bo and Bim are being watched by a group of men who are targeting the Space Cowboy for their next hijacking. They are signalled by the waitress Jillian, and follow the two truckers as they exit. Bim is caught off guard and smashed over the head with a wrench, but Lobo has no difficulty dispatching them all before the cops come.
When they are about to board their rig, a scantily clad cowgirl asks them for a ride. Lobo doesn't have to think twice, but Bim recognises her as Sam Space's ex-wife, Dolly. Tearfully, Dolly explains Sam hasn't been paying his alimony, forcing her to work her way from truck stop to truck stop waitressing. Ignoring Bim's advise and union rules, Lobo escorts Dolly on board hoping she can do a little waitressing for him. Knocking Bim unconscious so they can have a little privacy, Lobo is soon unconscious himself, as Dolly reveals that Jillian drugged their coffee with a slow release gas. Dolly signals her fellow hijackers to dock with the rig, ejecting the two sleeping truckers from the discharge chute.
When Lobo recovers, he notices Bim doesn't share his ability to survive in the vacuum of space. Summoning his hawg, 'Bo picks up Dolly's scent and pursues the bandits.
Back at Sam Space Trucking Co., Sam is in contact with Dolly, telling her they'll rendezvous at New Truck City. The two have been ripping off the insurance company the whole time to fund a truckers paradise. Sam departs, as his former company explodes behind him.
Just as Dolly requests landing permission to New Truck City, an angry Lobo comes speeding towards them. The Space Cowboy makes a sudden manoeuvre, clipping a building as Lobo fires everything he has at the cockpit. The rig loses control and crashes into a skyscraper, also managing to bump into Sam on his arrival, sending his small craft into a crash landing in the street. The Space Cowboy explodes, causing various body parts to rain down on Sam's dream project.
Lobo finds his two-faced employer lying in a pile of eyeballs, and with no payment for services rendered, the Main Man takes an amputated leg and shoves it in a very uncomfortable place. Always the optimist, Lobo realises he isn't completely empty-handed and snacks on an eyeball.
