Synopsis for "Skin Deep"
Lobo learned that Countess Fabria Odessa was the one who sent the mercenaries after the Void Whisper, who in turn, hired him to kill her. The countess took Lobo to a bed for their "first date" and released more spiders onto him. Then, Lobo went with her, the Thanragarian, and the Martian to the flesh factory, where she planned to sell bodies for profit. They were attacked by the archer that attacked the mercenaries earlier. When Lobo defeated the assassin, the latter pressed an E.M.P. device on his chest, causing an explosion and also disabling the spiders. The assassin introduced himself as Wyvern Cross, then he and Lobo turned the attention to the countess and seemingly killed her.
Later, Cross insisted that the Citadel could use Lobo, but the Czarnian rejected and told him that the Citadel should inquire through Void Whisper if they have a job for him. Lobo informed Kadra of the completion of his mission and after she told him about Sinestro, he set out to confront him. The countess, who was still alive, planned to start the mass production of Czarnian flesh.
