- There is a plaque on the Metropolis Park wishing well that reads: "Dedicated 1936. In loving memory Dan Patterson and Craig Byrne". Byrne (no relation) was a Lois & Clark fan, who wrote the Lois & Clark newsletter. He later created the site Kryptonsite and wrote the official companion books for Smallville season 4-7.
