Lois Lane is the ruthless manager and publicist of the Earth-bound alien known as Salden. She is responsible for giving him the name Superman. Gundor Gorrok briefly used her as a hostage while working with Reverend Darrk, but she was rescued. Superman perceives her as shallow and not in line with his higher ideals, but values her as a resource.[1]
