Lonar is a New God of New Genesis. A loner and explorer, he preferred solitude from his fellow New Gods.
History
He excavated the valleys surrounding New Genesis' capital city Supertown. He was one of the first to discover remnants of the Old Gods. He found and freed an Old God steed, which he named Thunderer [1].

Powers
- New God Physiology: The beings from the Fourth World call themselves Gods and live outside of standard time and space in a realm called New Genesis & Apokolips. These New Gods have evolved due to their proximity to an existential progenitor quintessence called The Source, a primeval energy, believed to be one of the ultimate foundations of the Universal Expression of totality, along with their superior technology, into beings of genetic stability and evolutionary perfection. The residents of these binary worlds are immortal, stronger, faster, and brighter than Homo sapiens, despite their cosmetic resemblance.
- Superhuman Strength: Despite not having strength at the level of Orion or Big Barda, Lonar has shown he is strong enough to defeat opponents like Blue Beetle, Mad Harriet and a swarm of Parademons.

- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
