Lucas Fox was the son of Lucius Fox, Bruce Wayne's COO at Wayne Enterprises. With a special armor, he aided the Batman Family as Batwing.

History

Luke was offered a high-paying place in the corporation upon his graduation from college, but shocked his father by turning it down, choosing instead to enter the military. After two tours of duty with the United States Marine Corps, Luke came home to return to civilian life and to reconnect with his family. Sadly, his father's hectic schedule made any reconciliation between the two difficult, though both continued to try. Not long after Batman's disappearance, Luke was visiting his father when Wayne Enterprises was attacked by a group of costumed criminals lead by a hulking man in a costume reminiscent of Batman's. The gang forced Lucius and Luke down into the hidden vault beneath Wayne Enterprises that housed the prototype vehicles and equipment being built to outfit Batman. The group managed to secure their prize and escape, leaving Lucius badly injured. Driven to help bring in the criminals who had hurt his father, Luke returned to the vault and donned a special suit of high-tech, flight-capable, weapons-equipped suit of powered armor, becoming the hero Batwing.
