Lucas Hilton was a police officer in Star City, nicknamed Lt. Hilt by his subordinates.
History
He is an ally to Green Arrow and Black Canary during their team-up period after their marriage. He helps them in the hunt for Cupid and in the later battles with Discord, Dark Archer and Big Game. During a fight with the last one, he was stabbed to the skull with a hunting knife. He survives the wound, but the knife cannot be removed, otherwise it would kill him. The damage the brain suffered from the trauma makes Hilton's character change drastically, manifesting massive personality disorders. Lt. Hilt becomes violent and dangerous, and shoots a cop point blank. Green Arrow has to hunt down and arrest his former friend and ally, hoping for a cure.
