Lucas Trent is a Gotham City vigilante known as the Midnighter.
History
Seeing on TV that the war between the Atlanteans and the Amazons had destroyed half of Europe, Trent ended up going out to have some fun at night. Going to the Joker's Wild nightclub dressed as a "bat man", he heard that some well-known names in Gotham had been killed by a mysterious serial killer. At the nightclub, he ended up flirting with Pyg, a strong man with a pig mask, who, after drugging him, took him to his house where he intended to "perfect" him, that is, mutilate him to death in the same way he had done with others.
Despite feeling dizzy, Midnighter was always ready for the dangers of Gotham and managed to defeat Pyg, killing him in his house with his own butcher knife.[1]
Notes
- Although Andrew Pulaski, who is Midnighter's lover Apollo in other timelines, was mentioned in the story, they apparently did not have a relationship.
