Lucy Lane was the younger sister of Lois Lane, a reporter for the Daily Planet.
History
Lucy went to the all-girls prep school in Midvale where she met Kara Zor-El in her Earth identity as Linda Lee, claiming to be the cousin of Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent. During a weekend that she spent outside the prep school with Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen, Lucy attempted to stop a runaway construction scoop but was knocked unconscious and soon was rescued by Kara as Supergirl.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the Donnerverse film series and is an adaptation of Lucy Lane. The original character was created by Otto Binder and Curt Swan and first appeared in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #36.

Trivia
- In Supergirl, Lucy is a 15-year-old High School student. In Superman: The Movie, Lois mentions an unnamed sister, who have three kids and a mortgage. Presumably Lois and Lucy have another sister.
