M'yrnn was born and raised on the planet Ma'aleca'andra (better known as Mars) many centuries ago. He was a council member and a scholar, specializing as a philosopher mathematician.

He was captured in an Apokoliptian attack on Mars, and died in a soul dissecting experiment.[1]

His son, J'onn would eventually become the Justice League member known as the Martian Manhunter.

  • Vulnerability to Fire: Martians are much more vulnerable to fire than the average Earth human. At times this has been portrayed as physical, psychological, or a combination of the two. The effect of this is to strip any Martian of their powers as they involuntarily lose control of their body.
  • Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
  • In Pre-Crisis continuity, M'yrnn was known as a great warrior and Manhunter.
