Notes
- This is an adaptation of the 1939 movie and not the original novel.
- First joint publishing venture between DC and Marvel.[1]
- Lettering is credited to "Lisa Petergreg". Gaspar Saladino used the alias "LP Gregory" and variants of it a lot while working at Marvel.
- Contains capsule biographies of L. Frank Baum, Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, and Margaret Hamilton, as well as behind-the-scenes photos of the 1939 movie.
- An ad in the back of the comic promises an adaptation of the second Oz book, The Marvelous Land of Oz, which was issued solely by Marvel later that year as a "Marvel Treasury of Oz" release. Marvel published several Oz-related comics much later on as the books entered the public domain.
