MacTavish's is a popular chain of fast food restaurants with locations in Metropolis and beyond.

History

MacTavish's grew to even greater prominence after Superman frequented its restaurant in Metropolis to sate his hunger during an incident where his body began rapidly losing energy which forced him to eat over sixty burgers a minute for several days. Ever since then, MacTavish's began promoting itself as the place where Superman goes to eat.[1]

Its Central City restaurant was briefly destroyed by Amalak.[2]

Notes

  • MacTavish's had sold over 9 billion burgers prior to Superman becoming their star customer. After his hunger attacks and MacTavish using Superman in their advertisement, their sell numbers grew to over 10 billion.[1]
  • The restaurants burgers are called Mac Biggies.[1]
  • MacTavish's mascot is a clown named Donald MacTavish who bears a striking resemblance to the Joker.[1]


Trivia

  • MacTavish's is an obvious parody of McDonald's, while Donald MacTavish is a parody of Ronald McDonald, and the Mac Biggies are parodies of the Big Macs.
