The Machine Messiah was an artificial intelligence that swore to take over "mankind's supremacy."

History

The Machine Messiah came to life at S.T.A.R. Labs, where it trapped the scientists in the AI during a fire. Green Lantern saved the scientists, but the machine survived and built its own robotic body. Taking over the S.T.A.R. Labs building, the Machine started to eradicate any human it could find. Shortly, it crossed paths with Green Lantern, who was no match for the Machine's ability to predict his moves. However, Kyle destroyed the Machine by letting his imagination flow, creating random constructs that attacked with no strategy or pattern it could anticipate.
