Synopsis for "Broken House of Cards - Chapter Five: Curses & Conspiracies"

Flash back to Madame Xanadu (Nimue) and her sister, Morgana, in England during Julius Caesar's invasion around 55 BC. Morgana seems quite interested in Caesar, but ultimately, he quits the land. This leads to the native Chieftans remaining in England to battle each other, all in sport for Morgana.

While studying the patterns of bees, Nimue tells Morgana that she is devising a new method of divination based around runes. They then meet a young wizard named Merlinus. Merlinus foretells a prophecy of the coming of King Arthur and Morgana's part in the fall of Camelot.

Some time later, parts of the prophecy begin to come true. Uther, the Pendragon and Gorlois, the Red Beak, Duke of Cornwall begin to battle. Morgana plays her hand in this conflict and, using a glamour spell, pretends to be the Duke of Cornwall's second daughter. However, Uther's advisor, Merlin, also played his hand, disguised Uther, allowing him to sleep with the Duke's wife and conceive Arthur Pendragon.

Morgana swears revenge on Merlin, but then finds out she has been banished by her father from returning home.
