Maddie Van Horn was a second generation metahuman with telekinetic powers.
History
Maddie was born in 1995 to Teri Van Horn and Tyler McKnight. In 1998, Teri was killed in a car accident, that Maddie eventually believed that she had caused, because of her abilities, that Maddie had inherited from her father. As a result, Maddie stopped talking, while she bounced around foster homes. Frequently Maddie's inability to control her powers caused to her breaking massive amounts of glass.
In 2006, Maddie had been sent to live with a woman named Naomi, who died when all the glass in her apartment shattered. Until Child Services could collect her, Maddie went to stay with Senator Kent, Naomi's boss, and her son Clark. Maddie warmed up to Clark, even starting to speak again. However, Tyler McKnight soon arrived at the Kent Farm and abducted her. Revealing himself to be her father, along with the one who had killed both Teri Van Horn and Naomi.
Clark soon found them, and Tyler was taken into custody, but soon returned to the Kent Farm and threatened the lives of both Senator Kent and Clark. Thanks to a previous conversation with Clark, Maddie managed to fight back and proved herself stronger than her father, but also proved that just because Tyler was her father, it didn't mean that she had to be like him and spared his life. Afterwards, Maddie was sent to live with her grandmother, who had previously been unaware of her existence.

Powers
- Telekinesis: Maddie is able to telekinetically manipulate and control glass. This ability also extents to jewels like diamonds.
