Mammoth City was the base of operations for the superhero Plastic Man.
History
Mammoth City was originally a Native American site. Years ago, Hector Van Rooten bought it from Chief Rain-in-the-Trap by only $20 and founded the city. In 1945, Van Rooten descendant, Cyrus, wanted to undo the business claiming the city had poor farming lands, polluted air, etcetera, etcetera. A criminal named Mickey knew about the story and disguised himself as Rain-in-the-Trap's descendant, and bought the city from Cyrus by $20. Imediately, the pretense Rain-in-the-Trap expelled the city council staff and ordered to close police departments, courts, etcetera. Plastic Man was able to thwart this plan and reveal Mickey's ruse, returning the city for its citizens. [1]
