The Mangar-Kunjer-Kunja is an Australian reptilian demon that, according to legend, created the human race.

History

He was summoned to protect Darnell Caldecott from those he deemed not to be pure of heart.

When the Shade came to talk to his great-grandson Caldecott, the demon attacked, attempting to keep the Shade out before undertanding that his soul was both pure and evil. Turning back into a small lizard, the Mangar-Kunjer-Kunja allowed Shade to pass.
