Synopsis for "Manhunted, Part 3: Masks Upon Masks"

The next day, Kate takes Ramsey for breakfast before he goes to the Westwood Children's Academy but she doesn't notice that the tabloid vermin Shoemaker is following her. After dropping Ramsey off, Kate goes to Dylan's home to see the latest advances with her gear but she stumbles in while he was having sex with the waitress that he has been seeing. Dylan gets dressed and takes Kate to his small shack outside. Kate enters and is impressed by the inside of the shack. Dylan's time with the criminal Warp allowed Dylan to utilize Warp's spatial distortion method. His shack looks ordinary on the outside but its a warehouse on the inside. Kate leaves Dylan's home with her gear and doesn't notice Shoemaker. Shoemaker copies down Dylan's address and calls his friend Charlie at a nearby precinct in order to get more information.

Ramsey's grandfather Walter Pratt follows him and his father Peter when they leave the academy. Peter takes Ramsey to a book signing for his latest novel "King of the Rats". Walter gets in line to have a copy of Peter's book signed so he can talk a little bit more about Ramsey's amazing recovery. Walter makes some insulting remarks about Kate to Peter's face but Peter's agent steps in and tells Walter to leave. Walter leaves without seeing Ramsey but Ramsey notices his grandfather as he made his exit. Ramsey asks his dad why his grandfather had to leave so soon. Peter reacts immediately and goes after Walt but he had already disappeared. Peter feels like an idiot because he forgot to mention to Kate that Walter has made contact with Ramsey.

Meanwhile, Josiah Power, the CEO of the Power Company identifies DePaul's body. Agent Chase reports that Victoria Tate survived the gunshot wound but her days as a supermodel are over. Josiah offers Cameron his private jet so she can get to LA and warn the female Manhunter. Cameron made a slight advance towards Josiah for his kind gesture but Josiah politely declines since he is a homosexual. Cameron arrives in LA and meets Kate at her office. Kate expresses that it has been too long since they last saw each other. Cameron applauds Kate for quitting cigarettes and going with nicotine patches. Damon comes into the office and tells Cameron how great it is to see her again but she has a call from the LAPD. It turns out the LAPD arrested Shaw when he had a traumatic but violent episode involving Manhunters from the planet Oa.

Kate and Cameron arrive at the 27th Precinct where Shaw is being held. Cameron goes into the interrogation room where Shaw is being held and begins to question him. She notices that Shaw is bleeding from his left side. As for Kate, she goes through Shaw's duffel bag and finds his costume as well as a replica of her bo staff. Cameron gets a call from Agent Wayne and leaves the interrogation room. Kate goes in to question Shaw about why he has a replica of her bo staff. Shaw smiles at Kate and says "She is the last one". Agent Wayne tells Chase that he got a DNA hit from the DePaul crime scene. The blood that wasn't DePaul's was an exact match for Shaw. Cameron panics and heads back to the interrogation room. Before she could get close, the interrogation room explodes. Cameron gets to her feet and discovers that Shaw has taken Kate.
