Synopsis for "Who's Your Daddy, Part 1: Family Plots"

In the early afternoon, Walter Pratt comes to pick up Ramsey at school even though Ramsey's principal Mrs. Daughert doesn't approve of the abrupt departure from the grounds before the school day has ended. Later that day, Peter arrives at the school to pick up Ramsey but he comes to find out that Ramsey isn't there. Peter is enraged with Mrs. Daughert and panics about where his son is. Peter then gets a call from Walter saying that he has Ramsey at Peter's place. Peter comes charging into his home and finds Ramsey asleep on the couch. Walter comes from behind and puts Peter in a choke hold to knock him out.

As for Kate, Shaw trains her but Dylan interrupts their sparring match when Skorpio attacks a nearby bank. Dylan gives Kate a teleporter that he designed after studying a damaged Mother Box from Apokolips. Kate is instantly transported from Dylan's home to the bank in a flash. Kate drop kicks Skorpio to the floor. Skorpio knows about Manhunter killing Copperhead and Monocle. Skorpio immediately surrenders and Kate decides to have some fun by making Skorpio strip then having him surrender butt naked to the SWAT team waiting outside. Kate then heads to her office where she is dealing with the upset of two acquittals and one mistrial. To make matters even worse, Skorpio has already contacted Kate's office for representation and wants to enter a plead deal with Kate's boss Howard the district attorney.

Cameron interrupts Kate's conversation with Howard and asks if they can talk privately. Cameron tells Kate that she applauds her for becoming the Manhunter and acting as an agent of justice rather than vengeance. Both Kate and Cameron agree that criminals from all walks of life abuse the justice system with despicable lawyers. Cameron wants Kate to meet Director Bones of the DEO because Bones wants to offer Kate an opportunity that she can't refuse. Kate meets with Bones and Bones goes over Kate's latest exploits. She didn't feel too comfortable that he knew everything about her night life as Manhunter so she drudged up his involvement with the death of Skyman.

Bones brushes off Kate's resentment and offers her that will work hand in hand with the DEO. Kate tells Bones that she has no intention of leaving the DA's office in order to join the Suicide Squad. Bones says he would never allow Kate to get mixed up with Waller plus Waller isn't Kate's or Bones' biggest fan. Bones stole Cameron away from her when Agent Chase joined the DEO and Kate has killed, maimed or converted a few of Waller's operatives like Copperhead, Shrapnel and Mark Shaw.

Meanwhile, Shaw was yelling at the TV and Dylan sees Ted Shoemaker doing his latest rag on Kate Spencer. Dylan remembers seeing Shoemaker at the diner where Kate takes Ramsey to eat and he vaguely remembers seeing him when they left the OMAC incident with Shaw. Dylan figures that Shoemaker has been following Kate and might putting two and two together that she is the Manhunter. Dylan goes to his shack and puts together a makeshift battle suit and pays Shoemaker a visit. Dylan arrives at Shoemaker's apartment just as he was about to sit down to a Del Taco meal. Dylan knocks out Shoemaker and drags him to his bathroom for interrogation.
