Synopsis for "Who's Your Daddy? Finale: Deaths in the Family"
The Psi-Dampener in Kate's mask caused Phobia's fear inducing abilities to backfire on her. At first, Phobia believes she impaled Kate with her bo staff but the hallucination becomes so overwhelming that Phobia goes into a catatonic state. Kate then finds Peter and releases him from his restraints. Walter comes from behind and smacks Kate across the face. Walter isn't too shocked to discover that his daughter is the Manhunter. He's more concerned about harvesting her bone marrow to save his own life. Kate reacts by drop kicking Walter through a wall. Walter laughs off his injury and sends an energy discharge from his hands toward Kate.
Kate dodges the blast and Walter becomes infuriated when he finds Dr. Moon's body. Walter takes the scalpel from Moon's skull and energizes it with his power. Walt throws the scalpel at Kate but she managed to block it with her bo staff. Unfortunately, the scalpel was stuck to the staff and the energy from it caused her bo staff to explode. Kate is dazed from the shock of the explosion then Walt lays bone crushing pummel to Kate's abdomen. As Kate reels from the pain, Ramsey enters the room feeling lethargic. Walt grabs Ramsey by the neck and Kate cries out in horror as Walt was ready to snap Ramsey's neck.
All of a sudden, Cameron appears thanks to Dylan's teleporter. Cameron pistol whips Walt against the face and Walt drops Ramsey. Kate grabs Ramsey and Cameron opens a separate portal for them to escape. Walt follows after them and grabs Kate on the other side. Kate reacts quickly by destroying Dylan's teleporter which cuts Walt in half by the waist line. Kate cradles Ramsey in her arms while Cameron makes a call to Director Bones. Suddenly, Kate starts to feel a sharp pain where Walt hit her and she collapses. Kate wakes up from her blackout and finds a Dr. Lewis standing over.
Dr. Lewis informs Kate that both her and her family are going to make a full recovery despite their injuries but he has some unfortunate news for Kate. The damaged she sustained caused severe hemorrhaging and she suffered a miscarriage. Kate starts to cry realizing that she and Peter were going to have another child. She also feels unbelievable anger because her actual father took another precious life away from Kate. Ramsey comes into the room and sees his mother crying. Ramsey puffs up his chest with his Superman T-shirt and tells his mom that she shouldn't worry because he won't let anyone hurt her or his father again. Kate turns to Ramsey and wraps him in a big hug.
