Synopsis for "Forgotten, Part Five: Unhappy Hunting Grounds"
In the Mexican desert on the other side of El Paso, three of Anica's genetically enhanced enforcers chase after her victims Pilar and Teresa. The enforcers chase Pilar and Teresa into a cactus grove but Kate ambushes them. One enforcer named Webster traps Kate in his webbing. Kate then taunts the enforcer Slash by goading him to attack her. Kate dodges Slash's strike and uses Webster's webbing to immobilize Slash. Kate takes down Webster but fails to notice Circuit Breaker behind her. Just as Circuit Breaker was about to deliver a shocking blow to Kate, Teresa knocks him out from behind with a cactus branch. Teresa tells Kate where she can find Crime Doctor's alternate base of operations in Mexico.
Kate heads to Anica's alternate base of operations and plays off as a seductive distraction. Two enforcers tell Kate to put her bo staff on the floor and to lie on the ground. Kate does as she is told until both enforcers get close enough. She then springs into action by picking up her bo staff and activates her blade feature which pops out of each end of her staff. She uses the blades and jams them both into the enforcers' kneecaps. From the sky, Lady Blackhawk and Huntress coming charging in with Blackhawk's helicopter. Lady Blackhawk and Huntress have decided to aid Kate. Both Teresa and Pilar showed the Birds of Prey where Anica's base was.
With the breach in her security, Anica figures that the Suicide Squad have been playing her the entire time. The Suicide Squad try to subdue her but she remotely activates the fail safes that were implanted in their necks by Amanda Waller. Anica had prepared for this contingency by pin pointing Waller's frequency within the Task Force X's implants and created a remote that would immobilize them. As for Kate, she searches for a data mainframe in order to copy any incriminating evidence for the authorities. One enforcer whose genome was spliced with Doomsday's DNA, attacks Kate and destroys the mainframe. Kate kills him the same way she did with Copperhead by jamming her bo staff into his mouth and blows off the back of his head. Lady Blackhawk uses the gatling gun on her helicopter to tear through the facility. Kate manages to free the remainder of Anica's abducted women and everyone makes their escape in Lady Blackhawk's copter.
