History
After Harley Quinn left The Joker, Marian Drews sneaked her way into the Joker's life, imitating Harley Quinn. The Joker didn't even notice that the fake wasn't the original. Years later, after the Joker's insanity was cured, he located Drews and proposed to her, leaving her bemused, as "he" (The Joker) would never behave in this fashion. The real Harley then arrived and kicked Drews unconscious.[1]
Disgruntled, Drews changed her look and took on the mantle of the Joker for herself as the Neo Joker, acting as a stand-in until the "real" Joker returned.[2]
