Dr. Marie Hutchins is the warden of Arkham Asylum.

She hired Ben Arnell to diagnose the Joker for a couple of weeks and then move on to other patients in the asylum,[1] and later proceeded to extend his contract to 3 more years given his enthusiasm.[2] Little did she know it wasn't enthusiasm, but Ben's deteriorating mental health after prolonged contact with the Joker. Even when Ben was eventually incarcerated in Arkham, Marie still visited him in his cell, so he wouldn't feel alone.[3]
