Mark Hamill (b. September 25, 1951) is a prolific character actor who has voiced many characters in DC Comics adaptations over the years, primarily the Joker in the DC Animated Universe and the Arkhamverse. He has also portrayed some characters in live-action, most notably the Trickster on The Flash.

Professional History
Mark Hamill is an American character actor best known for his portrayal of the hero Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise, beginning with the 1977 film Star Wars. In 1992, he began voicing the Joker, who has since become his most iconic character next to Luke Skywalker, beginning with Batman: The Animated Series for Warner Bros.. He has gone on to voice the Joker in various films and shows set in the DC Animated Universe, including Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and Justice League, as well as other versions of the character, such as the Arkhamverse version in the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game trilogy by Rocksteady. Hamill retired as the Joker following the passing of Kevin Conroy, who also lent his voice in the DC Animated Universe as Batman and often worked alongside Hamill as the Joker.
Since the original Star Wars trilogy ended, Hamill has primarily worked as a voice actor, providing the voices for many iconic characters. Outside of the Joker, he has notably voiced the Hobgoblin on Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Fire Lord Ozai on Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Skips on Regular Show, as well as many bit parts in other animated series such as Gravity Falls and Adventure Time.
Hamill has also done some live-action work adapting DC Comics stories, appearing as the Trickster on the 1990 CBS The Flash series, an older Trickster on the 2014 CW The Flash series, and Merv Pumpkinhead on The Sandman.

Trivia
- Tim Curry was the first choice for the Joker on Batman: The Animated Series, but the role went to Hamill instead. It has never been confirmed as to why Curry did not get the role.
