Mark Heinke is an American comic book creator. He is best known for his work with AC Comics; place in which he has spent most of his professional carrer. He began working in comic books in 1981 working for Fantagraphics Books on their title The Comics Journal. His first work for DC Comics was in 1995 on Star Trek. He is one of the few men in the comic book industry to have worked for every major comic book companny. He have worked for Marvel Comics; Image Comics; Dark Horse and many others; but he always stayed as a permanent employee at AC Comics; where he became the Associate Editor.

Heike moved to Florida in 1990; where he works with his wife Stephanie.
