Mark Strong (b. August 5, 1963) is a British actor who has portrayed multiple characters in films and series based on DC Comics, most notably Doctor Sivana in Shazam! and Carmine Falcone on The Penguin.

Professional History
Mark Strong is a British actor recognized for his versatility, appearing in many notable films such as Stardust, Sherlock Holmes (2009), Kick-Ass, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Zero Dark Thirty, The Imitation Game, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Cruella.
In 2011, he portrayed Sinestro in the DC Entertainment production Green Lantern, which was both a financial and critical failure. Eight years later, he starred as Thaddeus Sivana in the DC Studios film Shazam!, which was significantly more successful, and reprised the role for the post-credits scene of Shazam! Fury of the Gods. In 2024, he portrayed Carmine Falcone on the HBO miniseries The Penguin, replacing John Turturro, who had previously played the character in The Batman. The series received critical acclaim, as did Strong's performance.
