Marlon Corbett was a member of the Challengers of the Unknown.
History
A co-pilot of exceptional skill, Marlon was hired by the producers of the reality television show "Challengers". He helped fly the plane to the Himalayas, but the plane crashed. The survivors were rescued by the hidden city of Nanda Parbat, and Marlon helped them get back to civilization by piloting a helicopter.

- Maverick was created by Steven Grant and John Paul Leon, first appearing in Challengers of the Unknown (Volume 3) #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Maverick first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in DC Universe Presents #6 by Dan Didio and Jerry Ordway.
