Martha Kent was a notorious criminal and one of the FBI's Most Wanted.

History

The Kents hired criminal scientist Dr. Markem to implant a Chromo-Stimulant made with their DNA in their infant son's brain to ensure he would grow up to inherit their criminal tendencies. The Kents were killed during a police chase when Jonathan was blinded by exhaust left by Jor-El's rocket as it crashed to Earth. The Kents had no regrets about dying, believing their son would carry on their infamy, which happened years later when a teenage Clark's implant activated, turning him into the violent "Killer Kent".
