Martha Wayne was the wife of Thomas Wayne and mother of Bruce Wayne.

She and Thomas were secretly involved in the criminal underworld of Gotham City. However, she grew disgusted by the corruption and planned to expose her husband and their associates Carmine Falcone and Hamilton Hill. But unfortunately she and Thomas were murdered by Joe Chill, a hit man hired by Hamilton Hill to keep their scheme from being exposed.
