Martha Kent is the adoptive mother of the Kryptonian Kal-El aka Superman and the wife of the late Jonathan Kent.
History
At some point in time in the past, Martha married to Jonathan Kent and lived with him in their farm in Smallville. In 1979, the couple found the spacepod of the Kryptonian survivor, Kal-El; Martha and Jonathan decided to adopt the child and they raised him as their son, Clark Kent.
In the course of years, Martha and Jonathan's teachings helped Clark acknowledge his legacy and forged him to become Earth's greatest hero as the Superman.[1]
At some point in time before 2018, Jonathan somehow died, leaving only Martha to live in their farm in Smallville.[2] Clark frequently visited her and made some repairs to her farm.[2]
