Synopsis for "Rings of Saturn, Episode Two"

Due to Martian Manhunter using his powers on Captain Destiny, the pirate changed his mind about blowing up the Saturnian ship and had an idea to keep their two prisoners alive and demand more ransom. The disguised Martian decided to find out who was behind the pirates and asked Cha'rissa to remain in the cell where they had been placed. He snuck around the ship to a command and control station with access to the ship's central computer. Captain Destiny argued with his employer Cabal about payment and the Martian used his powers to make the captain threaten to return the royals. Cabal sensed another mind at work, so Captain Destiny ordered one of his pirates to check on their prisoners.

Cha'rissa attempted to stall the pirates while J'onn could return to his cell, but by the time she returned, she was already fighting them. The fight ended when the Martian appeared as Jemm and the pirates swore to Captain Destiny that nobody could have gotten past them. On Saturn, Jogarr informed his fellow Saturnians about the ransom demand from the pirates and debated among themselves before Johm and Zuhl suggested sending both White and Red Saturnians to find the pirates.

Onboard the Karma, Martian Manhunter and Cha'rissa shared a kiss. Commander Synn of the White Fleet claimed that "Jemm" and the princess had both been executed while the real Jemm awoke before someone could kill with a dagger. D'all was suspicious of Captain Kharr, who was conveniently nearby with a blaster. Martian Manhunter impersonated Captain Destiny and went to the bridge before the real Captain Destiny spotted him and shot at him, hitting the terminal instead.

Commander Synn accused them of killing Princess Cha'rissa and vowed to kill them. Commander Synn's ship was not answering their hails and she ordered her crew to destroy the Karma.
