Synopsis for "The Burning Grave"

Martian Manhunter was flying Z'onn Z'orr into space when he began losing control of his body due to borrowing mass from the Earth which had different proportions from Martian mass. As he regained control, Malefic, disguised as Superman, knocked Big Barda unconscious before Orion spotted and attacked him. When Orion encountered the real Superman, he shot him with his Astro-Harness, provoking a fight between them, as Malefic observed. Steel informed "Plastic Man" that he had made the teleporter operational, although Malefic had restrained the real Plastic Man and impersonated him. Huntress witnessed Malefic reveal his true form and attacked him before Martian Manhunter revealed himself to his brother to be alive.

Martian Manhunter challenged his brother to a fight on Z'onn Z'orr and the former began the fight by approaching the latter from behind, accused him of the death of their people, the death of Karen Smith, and torturing the innocent Jemm, and as the Last Manhunter of Mars, condemned him to death. As Malefic was defeating his brother, the heroic Martian had also set a trap for him earlier, causing Z'onn Z'orr to float into the Sun. Martian Manhunter used his powers to restore his brother's mental abilities and memories, as well as his weakness to fire before nearly dying with him in the Sun, only to be saved by Superman, with help from Orion.

Back at the Watchtower, the Justice League tested Martian Manhunter after the proportion of Martian DNA to Earth mass caused his body to not respond. Wonder Woman apologized to him on behalf of the Justice League and he claimed that he would always remember others suffering because Malefic wanted to harm him.
