Martina Dementieva was originally a soldier in the Markovian Special Forces, however she turned her back on the armed forces and became an illegal weapons dealer.
History
Her operation grew until she controlled the whole black market in her home country of Markovia. Her specialty was experimental weapons tech. Eventually Martina sold an alien helmet to a man named Fleet Delmar who used it to attack the Batman in Gotham City.[1]
Following this, Batman did an investigation in order to find out who in Markovia was working with the League of Assassins and discovered that she was making a deal with Kaliber, a mercenary working for the league. Meanwhile, Black Lightning makes an uneasy alliance with Lady Shiva and they track down Martina to a restaurant in order to find out what she sold to the the league. As they attack her, she escapes in a sports car. Black Lightning then shoots the car down and she escapes only to collapse on the beachside. Lady Shiva then tries to interrogate her, but before she can reply, Martina is killed by a bullet from Kaliber.[2]
