Marvin is the grandfather of Scott. He was an actor, but deemed too ugly to break through. As a voice actor, he became much more successful. He was the voice of popular animated hero Mister Chimp.
History
Marvin became the legal guardian of his grandson Scott after the boy's parents died. The two hadn ever met before, but Scott's love for the character brought them together. Marvin eventually died of old age. His oversoul survived, and possessed the body of a chimpansee at the zoo.
