Baby Doll is a Gotham City criminal who was born with a disorder that prevents her from growing into an adult.
History
Mary Dahl grew up with a rare condition, that halted her body's physical growth but not mental growth. As a result, she has not grown larger physically from a very young age. Years later, Dahl became an actress and got the lead role of "Baby Doll" in a sitcom called "Love That Baby". While on the show, she got to direct an episode, but never got her residuals. At some point, Dahl also sued her parents into homelessness. After the end of her show, she eventually became deranged and adopted the "Baby Doll" identity as a criminal in Gotham City.
By the age of 47, Baby Doll was hired to be the manager of a Villigan's, specifically the one that had opened up next to Noonan's Bar. Seeing this, she sent a gift basket to the owners of the bar: Kite Man and Golden Glider. In the gift basket there were three day-passes to Queen of Kings Spa, where Baby Doll had hired multiple assassins as masseuses to kill Golden Glider, the Queen of Fables, Malice Vundabar, and Chessure.
While this was happening, she confronted Kite Man at Villigan's, revealing him that she wanted to put a big deck for patio seating where Noonan's is. Later, when the bomb Baby Doll had put in the gift basket was about to go off, Kite Man threw it at Villigan's, making the whole restaurant explode. Baby Doll confronted Kite Man about this by attacking him, with him holding back until she told him that Golden Glider was dead. Baby Doll then pretended to be Kite Man's daughter calling "daddy" while she was getting beaten up by him for nearby bystanders, who were filming them.[1]
