Mary Grayson is a member of the Flying Graysons, the wife of John Grayson and the mother of Dick.

History

In a bid to extort money from Haly's Circus, Tony Zucco sabotaged the aerialists' rig. All the Flying Graysons were killed, except for her son, who did not participate in the routine, and her brother-in-law Rick, who was paralyzed for life. Dick was adopted and raised by Bruce Wayne, who had been in the audience that night and witnessed her murder.
