Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "Mary Marvel and the Man Who Talks to Animals!"
Joe Doke is a man who loves animals so much that he’s too busy feeding two puppies to hear his boss, Mr. Elias Wright, trying to buzz him. Mr. Wright angrily throws the box of puppies out the window, prompting Joe to start trying to strangle him! Below, Mary Batson sees it fall out of the window and calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel, who catches them and flies them back up. Joe is happy to see that his puppies are alive and Mary Marvel is shocked to see someone who loves animals enough to kill over them. Mr. Wright fires Joe and promotes Mr. Garff to be his new Treasurer. He goes home to his girlfriend Susan, who is upset he’s lost his job. Susan chides him for treating animals too much like people, but he notes that’s except for her. He goes in for a tender hug, but she finds that he has Elmer, a squirrel he met in the park, in his jacket. Mr. Wright soon finds Mr. Garff trying to rob his safe, but Garff pulls a gun and shoots him dead. The next day, they’ve decided to accuse Joe, the only person who until recently knew the safe’s combination and Mary calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel to help the police. The cops also point out Joe did threaten Mr. Wright the last time they met. She soon finds Joe at his boarding house and finds from Susan that he’s already going to turn himself in. However, they both know that the park is in the way and that he’ll get distracted by the animals. Hearing someone coming, Joe stops feeding a squirrel and cat to hide in a bush, but the animals understand her and lead her to Joe, who says he didn’t do it and the other person who knew the safe combination is Garff, the new Treasurer! Meanwhile, Garff starts thinking about how to get rid of a hot gun registered in his name and points it at Joe when Mary Marvel arrives with him, knowing already that shooting her will yield predictable results. Suddenly, the cat and squirrel from the park attack Mr. Garff and Mary Marvel punches him out. She asks Joe if he directed the animals to do that, but Joe says it was all instinct from them. Mary Marvel flies Garff to prison and later, gets a pet squirrel from Joe, who she finds has become a veterinarian and she wonders if animals can really speak to him...

Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "Freckles' Jackpot"
Mary Batson is hanging out with Freckles in her bucolic hometown when Freckles gets a telegram saying her other Uncle, Bart, has died and left her $1,000,000! Mr. Dudley is shocked to see that Bart was rich, since he was the “black sheep” of the family (despite Uncle Dudley also being in the family) and more will come in a following letter. Freckles decides to call her local paper and ignores Mary telling her they should wait until the following letter comes. The next day, Freckles buys canned food for all her poor friends to distribute to the needy. Soon enough though, Mary has to call SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel and carry all her many packages and finally a refrigerator for Mrs. Dudley. Mostly, everyone is stunned that Freckles hasn’t bought anything for herself, but she shows off she’s bought a BB rifle she’s wanted for months and spends most of her night shooting at cans while Mary holds a flashlight for her. Later, Mary finds Freckles taking her gun to bed with her.
In the night, goons break into Freckles’ house and kidnap Freckles for ransom, covering her mouth and wrapping her in her own sheets. Mary wakes up early and notices Freckles surely didn’t wake up early and Mr. Dudley soon gets a note demanding $10,000 be brought to the swamp, which the Dudley Family doesn’t actually have. Thus, Mary calls SHAZAM and becomes Mary Marvel, who finds the goons in the swamp… but Freckles has managed to get loose and pull her BB gun on her aggressors, who are less than willing to shoot her. One of them pulls a gun, growing tired of this, only for Mary Marvel to block the shot and punch him off his feet. They take them off to prison and find that the masked one of the goons was actually her “dead” Uncle Bart Dudley! He admits that he saw the word in the paper and tried to get some easy money and the other guy he just hired. Freckles is confused, since Bart is still alive until she soon gets a phone call from the law offices of Higgs, Higgs and Higgs, who admit they sent it to the wrong F. Dudley. Freckles is upset that she’ll have to return all the nice things she bought. But when they get outside, a cop tells Freckles that the other goon was well-known criminal “Black” Jack and had a $1,000 reward out for him! Later, Freckles is astonished that after paying all the bills she had, Freckles has exactly 1¢ left, saying she’s happy to at least be one penny richer. Mary commends her best friend for thinking about the poor and being generous.

Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "Reversed Impulses"
Prof. Alonzo Heffer is a scientist working on a serum that will affect the nerve endings in the cerebellum, which will make bad impulses into good ones, which could cure any criminal! Mary Batson, meanwhile, sees three girls leg it out of a store with a clerk calling THIEF on them. Mary is sad to see girls this young doing crime and calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel. She drags them somewhere she promises will make them see the errors of their ways. At the Famed Helgridge School for Juvenile Delinquents, Prof. Heffer offers that they, being “the most progressive reform school in the country” they try his good vibes brain chemicals, but Commissioner Helgridge outwardly says that he’s not going to let him give an untested brain serum to children at his reform school and that he believes in using honest methods to teach these children to rejoin society. Prof. Heffer shrugs it off and leaves. While leaving the Commissioner’s office, Prof. Heffer sees Mary Marvel turning in the girls, but both she and Comm. Helgridge agree that they’re too young to go to reform school and he’s willing to release them into her custody, because she’s the World’s Mightiest Girl. Seeing them coming towards the Ice Cream Shop, Prof. Heffer pays off a soda jerk $5 to “play a prank” on the girls by doping their sodas with his brain chemical, calling it an “Extra De-Luxe Soda.” Suddenly, the girls show that they had stolen Prof. Heffer’s wallet and pocket-watch. However, Mary Marvel having quaffed this concoction makes her evil and she snatches the wallet and watch for herself. The girls run out to stop her as Mary Marvel legs it out of a jewelry store with a handful of jewels and they report the crime, but the cops won’t believe the World’s Mightiest Girl did it. One of them legs it to go find Mary Marvel while Mary Marvel releases a lion from a circus to attack people so she can snatch pocketbooks. Suddenly, Mary Marvel’s Wisdom of Minerva kicks in and she comes to her senses, shoving the lion back in his cage. Jo, the leader of the girls, has learned about being a good and honest person and Mary Marvel is happy things worked out well. Further, Comm. Helgridge tells her that the serum did wear off, but Jo and her gang are still good citizens. Prof. Heffer admits that the serum isn’t ready and could do bad things if good people took it and he still needs to develop it more. Mary Marvel decides that being a guardian was very confusing.

Synopsis for Freddy Freshman: "Freddy Freshman Rides Again"
Ace, as usual, is upset to see Freddy Freshman out with Harriet, challenging him at the Stables of Podunk U to go horse-racing with them. Freddy is reticent because he’s never ridden a horse before. Harriet decides to delegate to what Freddy thinks and Ace implies Freddy is intimidated by horses, pressuring him into doing so, since Harriet sounds game for it. She offers they get dressed and meet back in 15 minutes. Freddy admits his conundrum to a taller friend at the Dorms, then walks to the Campus Food Shop. All his friend offers is that horses like sugar lumps, so Freddy buys 5 lbs of them and shoves them in his pockets. Freddy soon comes to the stables walking with his pockets full of sugar and tries to jump on a horse from behind like he’s seen in movies, which doesn’t work. Ace and Stooge put him on the horse, but in a condescending manner. Freddy soon finds he’s falling behind and tries to kick his horse to make it speed up, but he does it too hard and his horse instead rears, dropping all the sugar lumps out of his pockets! He starts to embarrassingly struggle to shove them back in his pockets, but a wild horse escapes from the stables and Freddy is terrified but frozen in place. Harriet realizes Freddy isn’t behind them and goes back to find him, but the wild horse suddenly stops short of trampling him to eat the numerous sugar lumps on the ground, earning Freddy’s friendship and his respect. Everyone cheers him for seemingly stopping a runaway horse by himself and Harriet and she decides that after stopping a runaway horse, regular riding must be boring, so they should go see a movie together. Ace suspects Freddy never really stopped that horse and Freddy just thinks he won’t correct anyone.

Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "The Birdmobile"
Mary Batson is once again visiting Freckles’ hometown, only to find it’s totally boring out there! Mary is sure things will pick up naturally with her around and they notice local crackpot inventor Boris Scrooball who has managed to sell one of his inventions to Mr. Dudley, the Birdmobile. Even Boris admits it doesn’t entirely “work right.” In his house, Mr. Dudley tries on the Birdmobile, which is a personal jetpack that you wear like a backpack. He is quick to find that he can’t turn it off or steer well and starts to rocket towards a tree until Mary calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel who helps him glance off from hitting the tree. Freckles, however, is certain she can master the art of personal flight and is fine flying for some time until she loses control and runs into a painter on a scaffold, forcing Mary Marvel to save him from falling to his doom. Freckles rockets into a classroom in progress, scaring the teacher into fainting and then out into the glassware section of the Department Store, then into the toy department. Freckle starts to fly towards oncoming air traffic, but Mary Marvel pushes her out of the way. Once back home, Freckles has abandoned the Birdmobile, but Mary Marvel offers to have fixed it up so it‘ll work correctly now and convinces her to do so by turning back into Mary Batson to fly around with it. Boris Scrooball returns and demands his money back for his now working invention, but all the people looking for damages that Freckles caused instead start to mob him and he’s arrested for causing mayhem with wacky science. Mr. Dudley is sure he’ll get out of jail soon and that they can patent the Birdmobile together when he gets out. Freckles notes that it wasn’t dead in town after all and that she hopes to see her again soon.
