Synopsis for Mary Marvel: "Mary Marvel And the Atomic Panic"

Georgia Sivana has invented a “Midget Atomic Bomb” that can only kill roughly 5,000 people at once and goes to test it out in the small town of Berryville and takes off there in her green Rocket-Ship, burying it somewhere near the center of town and puts a small TV transmitter in next to it, then dumps trash on the spot where it is. The next day, the Mayor of Berryville gets news they’re being threatened with a random nuclear explosion somewhere in town and that it’s on any TV set to #75. News of it soon travels to Mary Batson, who hears it on the radio and calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel and go investigate why Georgia is threatening a small town or why she warned them beforehand. Instead, Georgia is just using to rob every place in town that’s been abandoned, but Mary Marvel punches her over when she tries to dump them in her Rocket-Ship. Mary Marvel decides she’s going to lean on Georgia until she tells her where the bomb is, but Mary Marvel is distracted by a crying child lost in the scourge of Berryville. She reunited the boy with his family while Georgia manages to finish packing all her stolen goods, only for Mary Marvel to grab the tail of her Rocket-Ship, holding it from taking off. Mary Marvel realizes she can intimidate Georgia to tell her where the bomb is by dragging her around town until she finds it with three seconds to go. However, Mary Marvel points out that Georgia failed there too: the Midget Atomic Bomb is a useless dud!

Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "A Knitted Adventure"

Freckles is skating to go to Knitting School, but complaints to Mary Batson that it’s really dull because everyone is rich, stuffy and older than her. Mary decides she’ll accompany her to make her feel more at ease. Freckles offers to share caramel bars with her later. When they get there, an elderly lady leaps out at them, Mrs. Olcrone, and scares them both. Freckles says that she owns the building and seems to like leaping out at people. Mrs. Olcrone goes down to her cellar, creepily. Mary enters the classroom and finds it’s really stuffy, but finds that the windows are jammed shut. Freckles is upset to find that the room is getting hotter and hotter even with the hall door open and the caramel bars have now melted. The door slams shut and everyone finds they can’t get it open until Mary calls SHAZAM to become Mary Marvel to find out what’s going on. Once she’s gone, Mrs. Olcrone reveals that she’s just overheating everyone in the building so she can threaten them with a shotgun and demands their valuables. Unfortunately, Freckles finds she stepped in the caramel and now she can’t move off the floor. Mary Marvel returns and sees the attack through the window and dives in to take the shot for Freckles. Mrs. Olcrone tries to scarper with the jewelry, but gets stuck in the molten caramel spots on the floor. Later, everyone is feeling better and Freckles finds out Mrs. Olcrone glued the windows shut and was turning on a “heating plant” in the basement she had set to explode, covering up the theft. Freckles asks for help getting loose of the caramels and they drop her off at jail. Later, Mary Marvel notes that knitting class at least wasn’t dull, but Freckles notes it sure was a sticky mess!

Synopsis for Mary Marvel, the World's Mightiest Girl!: "Mary Marvel Says it with Flowers"

Mary Batson is out observing at a Private Detective Agency run by Mr. Conley for an article in the local paper. Conley orders two dicks off to look into a rash of apartment robberies, despite them being well-protected and got past doormen as well. Mary decides she’ll come back and talk to him later, since he seems heated, deciding to help him also stop the crooks. Mary runs into a man carrying an empty flower box and finds a card on the ground, leading her to 88 Maple St, the Acme Flower Shop. A few minutes later, she arrives there and sees two sneezing deliverymen, Shuffles and Sneezer. Mary offers to buy some flowers, but their boss, Sydmouth. says they only make big orders. She points out they’re a retail store and why can’t she orders some flowers. She orders some gladiolas, carnations and irises for $2 and leaves, being told she won’t be served again, making her still suspicious. She decides to tail Shuffles and calls SHAZAM to find that he’s getting in to a rich building to deliver flowers to Mrs. Sykes in apartment 5B and finds that they’re using a messenger uniform and empty flower boxes to just rob people while they’re not home. Mrs. Sykes later thanks her for saving her money and valuables and she has her call the Conley Detective Agency. Sydmouth finds that grabbing Mary Marvel doesn’t work when she dumps Shuffles at their feet and that bullets also yield predictable results. Mr. Conley soon shows up and Mary Batson tells him that she only found out the place was a front, but Mary Marvel did all the work. Further, the goons would take off their messenger uniforms so no one would notice them leaving anyplace. Mary says she figured it out when she asked for gladiolas, carnations and irises, but instead got roses, daisies and pansies, meaning these idiots didn’t know any flowers. Later, Mr. Conley decides to teach the other dicks about the differences between flowers as practical knowledge.
