Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and The Anonymous Crook!"
Once a year, Captain Marvel, Jr. goes to the small suburban development Rosebud Acres, which is peopled mostly by reformed ex-cons like “Two-Gun” Gus (who now plants prized roses), “Blacky” Buhl (an arsonist turned artist,) and even “Fingers” Fleer (a basket-weaving safe-cracker.) At the center of town is a statue of its founder, Captain Marvel, Jr. himself! Later at Town Hall, a bunch of the citizens welcome him and donate money for charity from their reform society Crooks Anonymous, who are here to say that crime doesn't pay. However, a singular man in town wants to continue committing crimes and decides that since no one knows his name, he'll work against Crooks Anonymous under the black handkerchief disguise of… the Anonymous Crook! The Anonymous Crook pitches a fire-bomb into someone's house and Captain Marvel, Jr. worries it may've been Blacky Bruhl and punches over the Anonymous Crook, but is forced to let him run off while using a water barrel (which doesn't do much) and a whole water tower to put it out. Junior wonders how he'll be able to find this recidivist among the reformed. The Anonymous Crook smugly stands anonymously in the crowd, thinking that all the other goons will join him and form a new gang, so he decides to blow up a small dam at Rosebud Lake to flood the town. Junior stops repairing the water tower and manages to use the Statue of Captain Marvel, Jr. in town to stop the water from rushing out until the water can be abated with sandbags while the Anonymous Crook shoves a boulder to start an avalanche, but Junior creates a huge trench of Earth through the street to catch the incoming stones. When the Anonymous Crook decides to cut his losses and just steal the charity money, he is shocked to find that Junior is already in the chest of donations and gets punched out. Junior finds that he's actually known unreformed gangster “Killer” Keefe and the other men of Rosebud Acres agree that crime doesn't pay. Later, Keefe sits in jail and decides to just move back to Rosebud Acres when he gets out.

Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman the Flying Detective and 'The Vanishing Bombs'"
Early in the morning, news comes in to Police HQ that the Eustis Explosives Company has been robbed of a whole truckload of bombs! Their driver soon corroborates as much (he was knocked out) as Jim and Susan watch on from nearby. Jim points out that a truck like that can't move quickly and Lt. Kent goes to set up a dragnet for the slow-moving truck. Jim and Susan decides to change into the Bullets and fire off to find a truck parked at the bottom of a cliff which Bulletman finds mighty suspicious. They figure that this was likely staged so they could remove the bombs before they dumped this truck here, which means the bombs are in an even closer location. They soon spot tracks from above and find that they must have driven the truck into a nearby clearing and that the ground has been dug up recently. Doing some speedy digging, they confirm as much in time to be knocked out by two bomb-stealing thieves. They are soon tied up and carried to their hideout on nearby Bald Mountain where their captor, Mr. Brasse, reveal a man with a large mustache and a larger purple sombrero, Señor Riegras, a militant trying to conquer his home country of Bominga and says he's selling him the bombs. Brasse offers that he'll also get a good test of the bombs by using them to kill the Ballistic Duo from their plane once they take off. Bulletman kicks a lit candle off a nearby table to free himself as the plane drops the bomb, impressing Riegras. The Bullets, however, have survived and fly off to disarm them in their plane. With the goons defeated, they fly the plane back and Bulletgirl notes that Riegras will likely be extradited to face justice in Bominga.
