Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman the Flying Directive and The Highwaymen of the Skies"
At the Victor Airfield Restaurant, monobrow man Wingy and his friend Jet find that the Chief should be outside to tip his hat to them, their high sign. Their mysterious leader, Magnet, does so and they take off and start commandeering flights to rob passengers and claim that Mr. Victor, the airline's owner, will pay for it. After this happens another two times, they inform Police HQ and Lt. Kent says they should've told him earlier, but Mr. Victor admits that he didn't want big publicity that his airline is the one where people get robbed and he suspects it's unscrupulous pilots, Wingy and Jet. Lt. Kent offers to send along Jim Barr and Susan to help investigate at 9:00pm. They quickly figure out that the pilots are just robbing people by not falling asleep, then send it out in a small bag attached to a parachute. Jim and Susan change into the Bullets and Bulletman goes after the parachute bag, finding it's landed on a large electromagnet used to catch it. However, as he does so, Magnet drop kicks him in the shoulder blades and Bulletgirl breaks into the cockpit, only for Jet to shove the controls, knocking her out. Jet throws her out of the plane without her helmet. Bulletman awakens in the woods with all the stuff gone and figures he can gun down this problem from the other end and decides to just arrest Wingy and Jet. While flying back, he spots them dumping Susan into the sky and catches her as Wingy and Jet land the plane to escape in Magnet's helicopter as the confused passengers point them to the helicopter nearby. Bulletgirl retakes her helmet off the plane and the Ballistic Duo smash into his cockpit from both sides (a common move lately) and then punch them out, delivering them to Police HQ. Later, Jim shakes hands with Mr. Victor, who thanks them for saving his airline.
