Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and The Prophet of Doom!"
Freddy Freeman is out seeing the Shindu Diamond, the largest in the world, coming to the US to be cut and being stored in a special safe-house surrounded by an electrified gate. He turns around and tells known criminal Sivana, Jr. not to try stealing it, while Sivana, Jr. thinks about stealing it so he can be rich enough to be “Prince of the Universe.” Soon enough, a mysterious man in dark glasses with a chinstrap beard, a curling mustache and a green turban with a bright yellow suit covered in red moons and stars, claiming to be the Prophet of Doom and that he can see the future. He first predicts that the “safest ship afloat in the world,” the SS Murania, will blow up at sea. Freddy, worrying it could happen, calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. to look into things further as the Prophet of Doom rants more and more about the Murania sinking. Thereof, a goon working for him sets off dynamite in their hold and jumps out through a porthole. Junior manages to uses a large piece of wreckage to collect everyone out of the water to get them to safety. People begin to ask the Prophet of Doom what will happen next and he predicts a giant office building on State St will crumble, so Freddy calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to try to stop this too, arriving in time to find a bomb being dropped from a plane and catches it, flying it off to drop it in a lake and now suspects the Prophet of Doom is probably involved in it. He flies off to a certain cabin in the hills where the Prophet supposedly lives and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to look in as Freddy Freeman. He soon finds the Prophet being informed that Junior stopped the bomb and that they're going after the Shindu Diamond. Before he can call his magic words though, Freddy is knocked out by an evil pilot working for the Prophet and orders his men to keep him tied up while he goes to see the Indian Prince who owns the diamond. The Prophet of Doom says there's only one place where he can be sure that the Diamond won't be stolen, but the Prince soon finds that it's the same room where all of the Prophet's goons are and a bound and gagged Freddy. He's then knocked out and the Prophet reveals he was just Sivana, Jr. in disguise. He soon has his goon tie up the Indian Prince and lights the room on fire. When he's gone, Freddy rolls into the fire and holds his bonds to the flames, freeing himself and calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior once more to save the Indian Prince. Junior takes off to find Sivana, Jr. and his goons at the train station trying to catch a departing caboose and punches them out. He flies Young Thaddeus to prison once more, promising he'll be in solitary for a long time now.

Trivia
- Humorously, even on this cover where you can't see Sivana, Jr.'s orangish-brown hair, they still mistakenly portray him with white hair anyways, since his beard as the "Prophet of Doom" is not long and white at all, but short and black and his robe is instead bright gold with orange symbols with a green turban and darker glasses.
