A Graverobber is digging up the fourth grave that week, that of George Miller, not caring about the idea that a chronic graverobber are due a haunting… However, he shocked to hear a voice from within the coffin, asking to be let out! The graverobber runs away as the coffin opens, screaming for help. Freddy Freeman hears it in his room at Mrs. Wagner’s and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. one more time. The graverobber spills it all and shows George Miller’s coffin is empty… leading to Junior arresting him despite the digger saying that he’s a notorious traitor from the Civil War who betrayed the Union. Sgt. Drury soon arrests him, laughing at the idea that a zombie from the Civil War would be alive and walking around. Back in the graveyard, George Miller reveals that he drank some form of potion that has allowed him to remain alive until the modern day while in a coffin. He’s further shocked when he’s hit by a car that goes right through him. He decides that this makes him capable of hurting others while being intangible himself and he decides to go get some money and clothes now. Some days later, Freddy is peddling papers about the “Phantom Night Marauder” and that night, Miller robs a bank vault and takes shots easily from the guard. The police send a car over as Freddy is delivering papers to them, so he calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to check out the Second National Bank as Captain Marvel, Jr. The guard who shot at him shows Junior a Civil War-era musket he’d dropped and Junior is convinced that George Miller maybe did rise from his grave and leaves, finding Miller robbing a bank, but finds he can’t grab him. He follows him to a mountain where he’s hiding out, since the sun’s rays are the only thing that’ll kill him. Junior punches a hole in the cave, exposing him to the sun, destroying George Miller forever.
