Jordan is an architect. He designed some buildings right here in Washington. I'll bet he's taken Burton to one of them! Let's see... So far no luck! This is the last building I can think of which Jordan designed, the Triangle Building! A helicopter! So that's his secret! And in the back a gas releasing device! That's where the fog came from!

Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman the Flying Detective and the Thief of Arts"
Lt. Kent has Jim Barr look into a trivial case of a statue stolen from the Art Gallery, so he takes Susan and Slug with him to meet the Owner, Mr. Tupay, who is vaguely French. They find that it's particularly huge and they look around. Slug leads Susan forward sharply as the culprit tries lunging for her and Jim changes into Bulletman to fire into battle. The Thief unleashes a cane-sword to try to fight them off, only for Susan (now Bulletgirl) to punch him over. He scarpers and they manage to lose track of the “Thief of Arts.” They ask Mr. Tupay why he may want to steal it and Tupay points out it's pretty expensive. He shows off a placard listing the most expensive pieces there and that he owns the Venus de Smilo, a Mr. Hanson owns Green Boy by da Vinci (their best painting) and Mr. Omar Sabibi owns a 1st Edition Koran. They quickly change Slug into Bulletdog. They decide to split up and track down one each with Bulletdog going with Bulletgirl. The Thief of Arts beats Bulletgirl with his cane and then smashes the display to get his Koran, only for Bulletdog to get in his way. He escapes after beating back Bulletdog and scarpering into the night. The Bullets fire off again to find him as Bulletdog picks up a trail, leading them to Mr. Tupay's basement entrance to the gallery. They soon find that the Thief of Arts is there and defeat him quickly, finding it was Mr. Tupay himself in disguise to steal his own art treasures and sell them to make up for bad business!

Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "Mystery of the Vanishing Senators!"
Freddy Freeman is in Washington, DC to peddle papers and sees two US Senators, who are dismayed to find in the paper that Sen. Thomas is also still missing. Sen. Carstairs himself also disappears into the night's fog before Sen. Barker himself is snatched up into something, dropping only a crumpled newspaper. The next morning, Freddy finds the discarded Daily Star and a half of a star-shape in it. That evening, Freddy spots Mr. Jordan, who seems to have the other half of the star on his watch and chain. He tries to keep an eye on him, but one of his goons blackjacks Freddy and drags him inside. He wakes up and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel Junior again and cleans house quick to go find Jordan. Junior drags one of the goons high into the air to get him to admit he's working for Jordan, who has gone to kill Chairman of the Naval Affairs Committee Burton, so he leaves them on top of the Washington Monument. Meanwhile, Jordan enters a helicopter-auto that creates the fog. Junior figures that Jordan is a Washington architect, he presumes he's at one of the buildings he designed and finds him at the Triangle Building, which is also the only one with a helicopter-auto on top of it. Jordan tells the other four Senators he plans on killing them all with dynamite soon until he notices Junior has pushed the wall in and is standing behind him. Junior stops the Helicopter-Auto and Jordan gives up, revealing he's not Mr. Jordan, but a Germany spy named Karl Kurtz, who stole Jordan's identity after he died in Germany of a heart attack. He was impersonating him so he could kill off US Senators. Days later, Freddy muses about how Kurtz is in jail and his Nazi plan is over.
