Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman Looks For Brains!"
Jim Barr and Susan Kent are at a testimonial dinner in honor of her father, Lt. Kent. Announcing that no crook is smarter than the law, it gets reported in the papers and that evening, it reaches underworld gangster “Brains” Conroy, who has a bulbous, enlarged head. Brains writes up a letter and has it sent. The next day at Police HQ, Lt. Kent gives the letter to Jim and Susan, since it says Conroy intends to steal the Wentworth Jewels from their penthouse apartment at the Mayflower Hotel. The police, including Jim fail to see Conroy land a helicopter on the roof and the cops soon find a bound and gagged Wentworth and his jewels gone! Jim and Susan spot the helicopter leaving and change into the Bullets to fire after them. Bulletgirl flies too close and gets her Gravity-Regulator Helmet knocked off by the helicopter, forcing Bulletman to abandon it to rescue her. Soon enough, Lt. Kent gets another note from Brains to find that he's bragging that he'll soon rob the Ronsons' penthouse. The Bullets and the cops think that he's going to come in from the air, but instead, Brains hires a random guy to fly his helicopter for $50 and went in through the front door. Bulletman figures out he isn't gone yet and fires straight outside and down to the front door to catch Brains Conroy and dizzies him by catching him in a revolving door. He and his goon are soon arrested.

Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and the 'Flying Jailbird!'"
Some time ago, a local crackpot Professor invented Flytamin Pills that make people fly, but he dumped them out into the ocean. However, this somehow also got it into the drinking water! Freddy Freeman sells a man a paper, but when he goes to hail a taxi, he starts flying into the sky along with two kids and a man dressed like a little Dutch boy, then a cow. In the City Prison yard, reformed gangster and man with a song in his heart, “Sing Sing” Singer, almost accidentally leaping out of prison. Freddy overhears Singer (because he's always singing) and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr., but loses Singer, not realizing he can fly. Later, Singer manages to rob a Stiffany Jewelers and walks out the front door past the cops, since he can just fly. Suddenly, the cops find they can also fly and quickly lose control. The World's Mightiest Boy flies after the cops and drags them away from Singer, who's taking potshots at them, then hides in a cloud. Junior meets with the Warden and cops who figure that he's actually pretty violent despite him belting out love songs all the time. To lean into his penchant for singing, Junior holds a Radio Audition to find New Swoon Croon King. Freddy soon catches Singer there wearing a fake beard, but Singer cracks him in the face with a microphone to run off. Freddy calls CAPTAIN MARVEL and punches him out as Captain Marvel, Jr. and he's arrested. Later, Freddy writes in his diary about the City Health Commissioner figured that the Flytamin Water just stopped being effective after a little while.
