Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and The Human Magnet"
Freddy Freeman is peddling papers outside the Citizen’s Bank about Captain Marvel, Jr. defeating Sivana, Jr. from robbing the adjacent bank, but that he’s still at large. He tells Officer Jim Bellows that he doubts Sivana, Jr. will try it again too soon, especially since Jim is guarding the Bank too. He soon closes up the newsstand and heads back to Mrs. Wagner’s Boarding House. Meanwhile, Sivana, Jr. creates a giant horseshoe magnet to rob the Citizen’s Bank and become Prince of the Universe. He takes it out to a cemetery and manages to drag two men out of their cars, colliding their heads on the Magnet. Freddy sees is from his window and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. and stop the driverless cars. The drivers are equally mystified as to what happened and go back to their cars. Sivana, Jr. activates the Human Magnet again, but finds that it doesn’t work on Captain Marvel, Jr. himself. Instead, he decides to just wait until he returns to being Freddy to use it and ambushes him at his newsstand when he’s talking to Officer Jim. The two are knocked out by the Human Magnet and both wake up bound and gagged in Sivana, Jr.’s car. Sivana, Jr. soon uses it to rob the Citizen’s Bank and kicks Bellows out of his car while it’s in motion. He drives Freddy to his hideout and pulls him out of the car with the Human Magnet, climbs a ladder and then starts using the Human Magnet to just pick up and drop Freddy repeatedly. Freddy takes one fall on his face and he slips his gag, calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior again and punches him off the ladder. When Sivana, Jr. tries to escape, Junior uses the Human Magnet to drag him back and arrests him, saying that all the money is being returned and he’s returning to reform school.

Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman the Flying Detective and the Hollywood Murder"
Jim Barr and Susan Kent are heading to Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA, to see a special screening of Janice Brooks’ new mystery film and head out to meet Gabby Tufts, her press agent, as the Bullets. He tells them that he’s put a plant in the audience that will “shoot” Janice with a fake gun for publicity… but when he does it, he finds she’s really dead! The Bullets shoot off to lock the doors quickly and interrogate everyone there. The gunman says that he was supposed to fire a gun, but one with blanks. They find the two men likely responsible are director Scott Dare or leading actor, Clyde Carter. Tufts says that Clyde was jealous of her and Scott was being blackmailed after he wrote her a letter admitting to embezzling money. They figure out the gunman, Stubby, is telling the truth about it and then figure out that it was probably Gabby himself, since he was quick to accuse everyone else. Bulletgirl says she thinks that Scott is the murderer and they split up to investigate their leads. Bulletman enters Gabby’s office and just cracks open his locked desk to find that he was actually about to get fired by Janice for his constant day-drinking during work, only to be knocked out by Tufts breaking a wine bottle on his head. He goes to throw him off his balcony and removes his Gravity-Regulator Helmet, but finds out out that Jim Barr is a very heavy man and Bulletgirl finds Scott going to the police to confess he stole that money and goes back to find Bulletman being thrown over a railing to his death. He dons his Gravity-Regulator Helmet again and they defeat Tufts together, mocking how he was trying to make everyone else sound guilty a little too much!
