Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "Captain Marvel, Jr. and the Space Slavers!"

Ergo is a space invader (who resembles a squamous Cyclopes with a pig's nose) working for Jupiter, who has come to invade Earth, circling Earth “westerly” and having them not descend below 200,000' until they've slowed (because they have an atmosphere there.) This is his first voyage to invade Earth because humans are stupid and want mining slaves. On Earth proper, Freddy Freeman packs up his newsstand and clips an article about Captain Marvel, Jr. stopping a fur gang. Seconds later, a giant net lowers down from space and picks up an orange sedan off the street, then drags it and civilians within the area into the sky. Freddy quickly calls CAPTAIN MARVEL and becomes Captain Marvel, Jr. to free the car, tearing the wire and then flies up to find Ergo and his Bulletman-dressed peons and starts to clean house. Ergo tries to hit Junior, who is impressed in his strength, but Junior quickly socks him in the stomach. However, when Junior tries to question him further, Ergo cringes and refuses. He tries to just return Freddy to try asking him some questions, finding they learned English in advance and that they intend to enslave the humans of Earth before one of his Space Slavers knocks him out. Ar first, the Space Slavers decide to get more slaves from Venus to make up for their losses, only to find that Venusians are “too weak-spirited and lazy” and since they're too scared of Captain Marvel, Jr. to return to Earth, so they decide they'll just beat Freddy and make him work even more. However, due to being hit in the head with a space truncheon, he has amnesia and can't remember his magic word or even his name! They soon return to Jupiter where Freddy and the other slaves are sold to a rich fat alien of Jupiter who says that he “hates” owning slaves, but he thinks having it be egalitarian and equal slavery. Ergo finds the Jupiterians are weak and soft, but goes to deliver his slaves to the mines. Sometime soon after, Freddy collapses from the poisonous atmosphere of Jupiter, but when he does, he finds the article he clipped about Captain Marvel, Jr. and reads it aloud, finding that he's now Captain Marvel, Jr. He soon defeats his Bulletman-dressed keepers and punches over Ergo, then goes to see his new “owner,” who complains that Jupiter needs slaves to make their generators work. If they don't have constant work from the mines, the atmosphere turns to poison. What's worse, the Jupiterians cannot spend more than an hour or so in the mines due to their poisonous atmosphere there too. Junior offers he will create a great machine that will make the fuel non-toxic for Jupiterians and introduces them to the advent of the gas mask, destroying the Jupiterian Slave Trade entirely. The Jupiterian promises him that all of Jupiter will remain free forever. Junior takes Ergo to prison and sells papers later about Captain Marvel, Jr. solving interplanetary slavery.

Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Bulletman the Flying Detective and The Robber Who Was Dead!"

At Police HQ, pointy-headed gangster “Pinhead” leaves, saying he's going straight, only to be promptly hit by a car and killed by one Dr. Jason, who confirms his death. Lt. Kent, watching, says it was definitely an accident and that he's not liable. Dr. Jason promises to pay for his funeral and takes the body home with him. Lt. Kent says he'll put that in his report and thinks how strange it is that a gangster died in a random automobile accident. That night, an affluent couple at 311 Pine St find that their wall-safe is being broken into by an escaping gangster and Jim and Susan get word about it from Lt. Kent and change into the Bullets, firing off to talk to the couple. The man notes that he had a pointy head and Bulletman notes that there was a guy like that, but he's dead now. They decide to go look into if anyone else has a pointy head in the State of New York criminal records and also find that Pinhead is still dead in his coffin. The Bullets head back to Police HQ to find that there's been a stolen pearl necklace at 621 Beech Ave. Bulletman suddenly takes off, heading the wrong way out to find that Pinhead… isn't in his coffin! He asks Bulletgirl to stay there while he goes to find Dr. Jason at the Medical Association. He finds there is no Dr. Jason listed there. He realizes that he faked killing Pinhead so he could team up with him and let him commit robberies. Meanwhile, Pinhead returns and Bulletgirl grabs him, but “Doctor” Jason knocks her out with a blackjack. The two goons dump her in the coffin and decide to bury it with her inside, so Pinhead puts on a hat. Bulletman finds a discarded Gravity-Regulator Helmet and figures that something happened to his crime-fighting partner. He hear that the hearse was seen driving off to the cemetery. He shoots off and finds the two goons trying to bury Bulletgirl alive and throws them over two headstones before he recovers his partner and they drag the two goons to prison.
