Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "Captain Marvel, Jr. Gets Bottled Up"
Sivana, Jr. is alack to find that he’s broke due to spending all his money on trying to be Prince of the Universe and Captain Marvel, Jr. foiling his plans. He angrily kicks over Freddy Freeman’s Newsstand in a rage and Freddy soon calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to chase after him as Captain Marvel, Jr. Young Thaddeus legs it into the studio of Thurston Thorndyke, an expert glass blower, and knocks over and destroys tons of glassware, including an expensive $10,000 commission of William Tell firing an apple off his father’s head that he needs to get to Mrs. Bentley by tomorrow! Thorndyke is despairing that arresting Sivana, Jr. won’t get his money back and won’t fix the broken piece, so Sivana, Jr. cleverly offers to blow him a new one, since he’s apparently something of a glass blower himself. Soon enough, the two working together overnight are able to produce an exact replica piece.
Back at home, Freddy finds he knows that Sivana, Jr. was up to something while Sivana, Jr. proves as much by cracking a blow tube into Thorndyke’s head so he can exchange the custom piece to Mrs. Bentley himself and run off with the $10,000, then blows a glass bubble so large that he can dump Thorndyke into, hoping to seal it shut soon. However, a knock at the door forces him to shove it behind the glass furnace and dons a disguise that resembles the glass blower. Freddy enters and asks how working with Sivana, Jr. is working for him, but he spots in the reflection of the custom William Tell piece that Sivana, Jr. is about to crack him in the head with a blow tube. This doesn’t stop him from doing so before he can call his magic words and Sivana, Jr. dumps him into the glass bubble too, then seals it shut to go deliver the statue. Freddy wakes up and realizes he can’t breathe and there’s no air in the bubble, so he rolls it into a table, shattering it and calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior once more, flying off to get the money from Sivana, Jr. and punching him out to take him back to reform school. Later, Junior returns the money to Thorndyke, who thanks him for saving his reputation and his life!

Synopsis for Bulletman the Flying Detective: "Blind Man's Bluff!"
Jim Barr and Susan Kent are out with Slug on a walk. Jim gives money to a blind beggar with a dog and soon overhear a robbery at a jewelry store and change into the Bullet Trio. When they get to the shop, the clerk says that the thief… was a dog! Bulletdog picks up a trail and finds it’s seemingly the blind man’s seeing-eye dog, so they presume that the real dog escaped. However, Bulletman finds a bracelet on the ground and figures that the blind man might not be blind after all! Bulletdog’s trail runs cold, so Bulletman just buys some dark glasses and a tin cup and drags a coat out of a trash can to pretend to be disabled. He soon finds that being a blind beggar is almost a profitable way to leave and decides to donate what money he makes to the Red Cross. He tails the “blind” beggar to Moe’s Pawn Shop where the sighted goon, Monk, just removes his glasses and openly says out loud that he isn’t blind and he uses this to rob people, but also that he trained his dog, Brutus, to steal! Bulletman attacks him, but Monk sics Brutus on him. Bulletdog manages to knock Brutus aside, but Monk manages to drop kick Bulletman in the kidneys and grabs a bag of stolen goods to sell elsewhere. Once he’s gone though, Bulletman looks over and realizes he forgot his dog and Monk, since his glasses are so dark that he’s semi-functionally blinded by tbem, has Bulletdog with him. Bulletdog soon leads him to Bulletgirl, who punches him out and Bulletman catches up later, learning that Bulletdog really was the one who solved the case (though Bulletgirl says “you helped too… a little!”)
