Master Mayhem was an Apokoliptian warrior.

Long, long ago, Master Mayhem and Darkseid trained together as warriors on Apokolips. Darkseid saw his mighty friend defeat countless foes beneath the burning blaze of the planet's fire pits and always assumed he was unkillable. The future god king watched his death at the hands of Doomsday in abject terror.
