Synopsis for "The Duel of the Flying Knights!"

This story is reprinted from Adventure Comics #153.

Back in the days of Camelot there was the Shining Knight. He had a magical sword and a flying horse. The evil Mordred wants to take over the land but realizes he must get rid of the Shining Knight before he can get rid of the king. Mordred runs into a man from Ancient Greece named Bellerophon who also has a flying horse. Some power got him suspended in time which brought him to the days of Camelot. Mordred tricks Bellerophon into fighting the Shining Knight but Merlin realizes what is going on and whisks the Greek warrior back to his own time. The Shining Knight then says that he learned a lot and fought a great opponent, much to Mordred's dismay.

Synopsis for "The Imitation Knight"

This story is reprinted from Adventure Comics #155.

Justin saw a young maiden whom he found fair and wanted to ask her to a dance. She being a little bit old fashioned stated that he had to ask permission from her father Mr. Mason. Mr. Mason was a collector of medieval armor and stated that Justin must prove himself in a quest to fight off dragons which were alligators. Besides dragons in the forest there were criminals hiding out that Justin had to fend off and even rescue Mary the damsel in distress!. Even his trusty steed victory, with its wings was made to look like a mechanical horse to fool the all knowing Mr. Mason. In the end Mary believed that the true Shining Knight took Justin's place and that she would only go to the dance with the Shining Knight and not Justin.
